Policies – Must read and agree to PRIOR to appointment – thank you!!

Due to COVID-19, Jasmine Skin Care + Lash Studio is implementing strict protocols to protect you to the best of our ability.

My number one priority at Jasmine Skincare + Lash Studio is keeping you, our families and community safe as best we can.

I understand that many of you have anxiety and fears regarding coming to the salon, just as I do about working, but my work is my passion and my love and I believe we will figure this out together. I ask that you be patient as we evolve to this new normal. Together, hopefully we can keep each other safe during this adjustment period. <3

As I always have, I will continue to practice exceptional sanitation, disinfection and preventative measures to keep all of us safe.

If you are comfortable with my NEW INTAKE and SERVICE PROCESS, I welcome you and look forward to serving you. If any of these are a no, please reschedule your appointment for another time in the future.

What I kindly ask of you (NEW INTAKE/SERVICE PROCESS):

  1. If you are feeling sick or have been in contact with anyone who has been sick, you MUST reschedule. Please be honest. You could be saving a life.

3.  As suggested by California State Board of Cosmetology, I will have each guest complete an intake form PRIOR to appointment via email.

At the door, I will have your printed email and go through the NEW INTAKE PROCESS with you PRIOR to your entry:

a). You will be greeted at the front door by me and I will use my contactless thermometer to take your temperature.

b). I will ask you to sign a service waiver confirming you can answer “no” to the following questions:

     • Have you had a cough?

     • Have you had a fever?

     • Have you been around anyone exhibiting these symptoms within the past 14 days?

     • Are you living with or in contact with anyone who is sick or quarantined?

4.   Arrive on time for your appointment and follow these protocols:

  • Call/text me when you arrive at the parking lot PRIOR to your appointment
  • WAIT in your air-conditioned car until I text you to come in.
  • Do NOT come early as I want to spread out my clients for everyone’s safety and to limit the amount of people in my shop to two.
  • Once I am ready and my work area is sanitized, I’ll text you back and greet you at the door and go through the new intake process.
  • Please remove your shoes at the door. Or put on disposable, new booties.
  • Then I will request you use hand sanitizer; there will be hand sanitizer near the front door. Heck, we’ll BOTH use it.
  • Proceed to bathroom to wash your hands for 20 seconds with soap. (And please refrain from touching your face during appointment.)

5.   Your appointment times might need to be adjusted to allow for proper spacing of appointments. Watch for my text with exact times, please.

6. Limit what you bring into the Salon with you. Please keep it to a minimum. The formula is less exposure, less risk.

7. Masks can not be removed for any reason during your time in the salon.

*You wear your mask to keep me safe and I wear my mask to keep you safe.

8. No cash or check payments. We only will be accepting pre-payment, Venmo, Apple pay, Paypal and pre-authorized credit cards.

9. Services that require you to remove your mask will not be offered at this time.

10. As much as I pride myself on giving a friendly, luxury service. Many of the little things we like to do for you may not be possible during this time: hugs, handshakes, beverage service, custom shopping experience, etc.

11. We appreciate you coming in with clean, dry hair and clothes.

12. I hope you will wait until we can resume facials/peels when it is safer and as a reminder there are no refunds on pre-paid packages. If this is a concern for you, let’s have a conversation about it and I will do my best to accommodate you. 🙂

What I am now doing:

1.  As a service provider, I will wear gloves, a face shield and a mask underneath, just like at the dentist, during each service and change gloves in between client.

2. Disposable chair coverings will used for each service. NO blankets at this time. Boo.

3. Deep cleaning and disinfection practices will be implemented between each clients. (I was always doing this FYI but now OCD-style).

4. Disinfection of commonly used surfaces will be cleaned every 30 minutes and I will be re-washing the floor after each client with bleach.

5. Jasmine Skin Care + Lash Studio will be moving to a contactless checkout. This means I will require a credit card on file before booking/arriving for any appointment.

This card will not be charged but it will be used to hold appointment and you can either choose to pay with it, Venmo, PayPal or Apple Pay, but it must set-up PRIOR to the appointment to limit the amount of time a guest is in the salon.

You may still add gratuity if you choose AND WE APPRECIATE IT. (Sorry there is no way for that not to sound tacky, but we are in a pandemic, people. 🙂

My Venmo is: jasmine-brinton

My PayPal is: sayhitojasmine@gmail.com

6.    My retail is open and I am shipping products, beauty boxes and offering virtual skin care analysis. Please ask for assistance if you need retail as to limit contact of retail shelf.

7.  Contactless greetings—as much as I love to give my guests hugs and handshakes, at this time I will be refraining from doing so. Think “Eye-hugs.”

8. All hard surfaces like door handles, telephones and reception counters are disinfected hourly, at a minimum, based on traffic.
